Psychic chat offers: compare introductory minutes and costs
Introductory offers are not directly comparable: eligibility, payment requirements and the regular rate after promotional minutes differ. Check the selected advisor's current rate and the offer terms before starting.
Keen
Keen's help center says new customers typically receive 5 minutes for $1 with select advisors, after which the advisor's regular per-minute rate applies. A separate Keen landing page advertises 10 minutes for $1.99 for new customers and says a credit card is required. These are separately described offers; confirm eligibility and the terms shown for your account and selected advisor before paying. Keen's help center article returned an access error on October 15, so its $1 wording was last confirmed on October 14.
Kasamba's official landing page advertises three free minutes with each new advisor and 50% off the rest of an eligible chat. Registration and billing information are required; the 50% offer is limited to advisors originally priced at $1.99 and a $50 maximum. Confirm eligibility and the selected advisor's rate before paying.
Purple Garden's top-rated reader page carries a banner for $30 free credit on your first purchase and the line 'Sign up & save on your first purchase'. The wording ties the credit to a purchase and lists no other conditions on that page, so it does not establish a reading with no upfront payment. The same page headlines chat 'as low as $1 per minute', while the lowest rate shown in the advisor listings we read was $1.99 per minute. Confirm the credit conditions and the selected reader's rate at checkout before paying.
Mysticsense's offer page describes four steps: create an account, deposit at least $10, choose a psychic and make a call. After the first reading, it says the first five minutes are refunded to your account as credit, based on the per-minute rate you paid for the chosen psychic. It states a maximum credit of $15 for a first deposit of $15 or more. That is credit on your Mysticsense balance after you have paid, not minutes with no upfront payment. Confirm the current eligibility and limits, and the psychic's rate, before depositing.
Psychic Source's pricing page says first-time customers get a one-time offer on their first purchase and can talk to most of its psychics for as low as $1 per minute, and advises buying the largest number of minutes available because the offer is available only once. A site-wide banner separately advertises readings as low as $0.60 per minute, online and one time only, with a promo code. After the introductory minutes are used, the advisor's regular rate applies. Confirm which offer applies to your account, and the advisor's regular rate, before paying.
California Psychics' pricing page says you can get started from as little as $25, which it describes as up to 20 total minutes and account credit equal to the full value to talk to one or more psychics, with a five-minute purchase required. It adds that if you are not satisfied, it is free. Navigation on the site also advertises 15 free minutes, but the pages we read did not state the terms of that offer, so we cannot say how it relates to the $25 offer. Confirm the offer, eligibility and the advisor's rate shown at checkout before paying.
Oranum's overview page advertises 100% extra credits on your first purchase and mentions free credits if you validate a credit card. Joining and watching public broadcasts is free, but private sessions, Messenger, calls and video use credits you buy. The overview does not give credit prices or the conditions of the extra credits, so confirm them at checkout before paying.
AskNow's home page advertises '5 Min Free' for new customers, and the footnote on that line says it is for new customers with the purchase of an introductory package. Some advisor cards also show a $1 per minute price marked with the same asterisk. The page we read does not state the price of the introductory package, so confirm the package price, which advisors qualify and the advisor's regular rate before paying.
Nebula's home page advertises '3 Minutes FREE + 80% OFF' for new customers and describes it as three minutes plus an 80% discount on your first reading. The page does not set out the conditions, whether a payment method is required or what rate applies after the discount, and its app FAQ separately mentions a three-day free trial for a subscription. These appear to be different offers, so confirm which applies, and the advisor's regular per-minute rate, before starting.
Psychic Today's home page advertises 77% off your first 15 minutes, available only to new customers. The page we read did not set out the base rate the discount applies to or which line it is used on, so ask before calling and check what the rate becomes after the first 15 minutes.
Psychic World's home page advertises 10 free minutes, and its FAQ describes 10 bonus credits on your first top-up with the code WELCOME, so a purchase comes first. Some advisors also give the first 3 minutes of a reading free. Because advisors charge different numbers of credits per minute, 10 credits do not always buy 10 minutes; at the common rate of 2 credits a minute they cover 5. That arithmetic is ours.
How to compare psychic sites and tell a good reading from a generated one
Why the billing unit matters more than the free minutes
A free-minute offer, a credit after purchase and a free answer are different things. Several sites bill by the minute after an introductory offer, so a longer chat costs more; check the selected reader's regular rate and set a time budget before you connect. A per-minute session depends on its length, while a per-message conversation depends on how many paid messages you send. A lower number per minute is not automatically cheaper than a higher number per message, so compare the total for the conversation you actually intend to have.
Test two sites with the same specific question
Most sites will tell you they are the best. A more useful test is whether a real person reads what you wrote and whether the answer only makes sense for you. Ask the same question, with a detail only you would know to include, on two services and compare the replies. Check whether the reply engages with your situation, explains its reasoning and acknowledges uncertainty. A specific or disagreeing answer cannot prove that a reply was written by a human or that its predictions are accurate, so also check how each service identifies its readers and describes the consultation.
What no site can promise
Nobody can tell you the future, and any site that guarantees an outcome, an exact date or the removal of a curse for a fee is selling something other than a reading. Reply speed varies too: readers answer when they are available, and a site claiming instant answers is describing its best case, not its average.
Reader screening and payment privacy
Which platforms describe background checks, and do they publish reports?
Keen says its Advisor screening includes identity verification, a background check, a content-quality review and a skill assessment. California Psychics says it performs criminal background checks on all advisors before offering a contract. These are the providers' descriptions of their recruitment processes. FateArc has not independently audited the checks or confirmed how they apply to currently active advisors.
The two official pages below describe screening but do not link to a public transparency report. Based on these sources alone, FateArc cannot verify a platform that meets both criteria. Ask what a check covers, who conducts it, whether it applies to current advisors, and whether results are reported publicly. A screening policy does not establish reading accuracy.
Can I pay with Apple Pay and keep billing private?
Payment methods vary by provider and account. Check the current checkout before adding funds. If billing privacy matters, review what the provider says about receipts and statement descriptors; do not assume wallet availability hides a charge.
Reading formats and chat billing at a glance
FateArc readers set their rates by profile and currency. The current table summarizes publicly indexable profiles, and only shows a currency and billing-unit rate with a sample of at least ten public profiles. It is not a quote for a specific reader or evidence that another platform costs more. Check the selected reader's displayed rate and any minimum before paying.
