How Much Does a Psychic Reading Cost?

The useful number is the cost of the conversation you want to have. Compare the billing unit, the reader's rate and any minimum before deciding how to start.

Your first question is free. Some new accounts require an initial balance deposit before sending. A reader's reply is never billed; response time depends on the reader. If you continue in chat, any remaining free messages are used first, then your balance is charged at the reader's message rate. Free-message limits apply across readers.

Verified readers see your question while it waits to be picked up. Once one takes it, only they can reply, and it stays between the two of you. It is never published and never shown on your profile.

A psychic reading's cost depends on the reader's rate, billing unit and how much you use. FateArc written chat is priced per message you send; video is priced per minute and may have a minimum. Your first question and answer are free once per person. Check the selected reader's current price before continuing.

Estimate your reading cost

Enter a reader's displayed rate. This calculator uses your numbers, not a quoted or typical FateArc price.

Enter a rate with no more than two decimal places and whole numbers of messages or minutes to see an estimate.

This is an illustrative subtotal, before any taxes, payment fees, currency conversion or introductory allowance. Confirm the reader's live rate, terms and final checkout amount before paying.

How much will your reading cost?

There is no single price for an online psychic reading. The reader's rate, the billing unit and how much you use determine the cost. A price per message cannot be compared directly with a price per minute without estimating the conversation you want.

On FateArc, readers set their own rates. Written chat is billed per message you send, while video is billed per minute and may have a displayed minimum. Check the selected reader's current prices before adding funds or starting a paid conversation.

Worked examples: messages, minutes and minimums

These are hypothetical examples to explain the arithmetic, not quoted FateArc rates or typical market prices. They assume no free allowance or discount and use the same currency throughout.

  • Per message: at an example rate of $1 for each paid message you send, sending 5 paid messages costs $5. Time spent composing or reading does not add a per-minute written-chat charge on FateArc.
  • Per minute: at an example video rate of $2 a minute, 15 billable minutes costs $30. The duration matters as well as the displayed rate.
  • Minimum charge: a service charging $2 a minute with a 10-minute minimum would have a $20 minimum, even for a shorter conversation. Check how the selected service defines and bills its minimum.

Use the actual rate, currency, minimum and introductory terms shown before your session. These examples do not include any additional charges or conversion costs that a payment provider may apply.

Your first question and starting costs

Your first question and its human-written answer on FateArc are free, once per person. Some new accounts require an initial balance deposit before sending. Create a free account so you can return to the answer. The wait depends on reader availability.

If you choose to continue, check the reader's displayed price and any introductory messages remaining. Introductory allowances can vary by reader and have platform-wide limits; the first free question does not cover every later message.

Paid conversations use your wallet balance. There is no subscription. A reader's reply is not itself a billable chat message; paid written chat is charged when you send an eligible message. Video has separate pricing.

What to compare before you pay

  • Billing unit: message, minute or fixed session. Compare an estimated total for your intended use.
  • Minimum: check any minimum duration or charge and when billing starts.
  • Introductory allowance: check eligibility, what is included and the price after it ends.
  • Currency: confirm the currency shown for the reader and at checkout.
  • Format and availability: choose written chat or video according to your needs, and check when the reader can respond.

A higher price does not establish that predictions are more accurate. Compare the reader's topic, language and communication style as well as the cost.

Prepare one question before starting

Write down the situation and the decision you are considering. One focused question makes it easier to decide whether the answer is useful before choosing a longer conversation.

You can start with the free written answer and decide whether to continue. Do not feel obliged to buy more time or messages because a reader asks you to. Readings are for entertainment and personal reflection, not guaranteed predictions or professional advice.

How it works

How it works

  1. 01

    Write your question

In your own words, in as much detail as you want. No forms and no menus — just the question. You make a free account before it is sent, so the reader has somewhere to reply.

  2. 02

    A real reader takes it

Your question goes to our verified human readers. The first one available takes it and writes your answer themselves.

  3. 03

    You talk privately

Their answer opens a private chat with them. Carry on there in text, or move to a video call — entirely your choice.

Not a generator

Answered by a person, not a generator

Most "free tarot" sites match your click to text somebody wrote years ago. Here, a verified human reader reads what you actually wrote and replies to you specifically. They can be wrong, they can tell you something you did not want to hear, and they can ask you a question back — because there is a person on the other end.

Questions people ask

What does it cost to ask?

Your first answer costs nothing — one free answer per person, not per reader. Some new accounts require an initial balance deposit before sending. If you want to keep talking afterwards, you continue with that reader in paid chat, or move to a paid video call. That choice is always yours.

Is this a real person or an AI?

A real person. Your question is sent to the human readers on FateArc, and the first one to take it writes your answer themselves. Nothing here is generated for you by a bot.

Who can see my question?

Readers here see it while it is waiting to be picked up. Once a reader takes it, only that reader can reply, and the conversation continues privately between the two of you. It is never published and never shown on your profile.

How long does it take to get an answer?

It depends on who is free when you ask. Readers answer when they are at their desk, so it can be minutes or it can be several hours. We email you the moment your answer arrives, so you do not have to sit and wait on the page.

Why do prices vary between readers?

Readers set their own rates. Compare the format, billing unit and estimated total for the conversation you want. A higher price is not evidence that a reader can predict events more accurately.

How do I calculate a per-minute reading cost?

Multiply the displayed rate by the billable minutes and account for any minimum. For example, $2 per minute for 15 billable minutes is $30. This is a hypothetical calculation, not a quoted FateArc price; check the reader's actual terms and currency.

Does a psychic chat charge me while I read or type?

FateArc written chat is priced per message you send, so reading and typing time do not add a per-minute chat charge. Other services may use different billing rules. Video has separate per-minute pricing.

Does the first free answer cover every follow-up?

The first question and its answer are free once per person. Some new accounts require an initial balance deposit before sending. If you continue, check the reader's rate and any introductory messages remaining. Allowances can vary and have platform-wide limits.
