Let's talk about the Queens! Which one do you relate to?

The Queen of Swords, quick wit, sharp tongue and so dang smart! The Queen of cups, flowing, ever changing and sensual. The Queen of disks, a homemaker, earthy and level headed. The Queen of Wands, holding the reins of domestic matters as well as business. Juggling both and making it look easy.

Let's talk about the Queens! Which one do you relate to?

The Queen carries a heavy load.

If you are like me, you have a lot on your plate. In fact, the plate is never even close to empty. Sometimes we carry it with grace and pride. Other times we drop the plate and everything on it.

In those times, when we find ourselves standing there empty handed, we can be our own worst enemies. We begin to fall into a cycle that is so hard to get out of that it can feel like it just swallowed us up and there is no escape.

The harshest words are the ones we speak to ourselves.

We criticize ourselves more harshly than anyone else, simply for being tired. For not being able to do everything all the time. We beat ourselves up for needing rest, and then we can't even rest because of the turmoil we have created inside our hearts and minds for having dropped the plate. Even others are often willing to give us grace that we cannot give to ourselves.

We pick ourselves apart, noticing every flaw. Focusing on every imperfection. It tinges everything we see. Every conversation we have. Soon others begin to notice, and next thing we know we're losing friends. We put up walls and block people out, or they block us out. We're snapping at the people we love and our energy starts bringing people down and nothing is right! Everything is off and out of balance and none of it makes any sense. We begin to feel bitter. Begin to ask ourselves if this is just who we are. We watch other women carrying their plates and we cheer them on and deep down, we wonder why we can't carry our own plate that way. We feel that we are not enough or that we have failed. These are in our worst of times. This is when the Queen is in reverse.

Does that mean that you are not still the Queen?

Absolutely not. You are still always the Queen my dear. You can't forget this. And you must know that every one of the flaws and imperfections that you are focusing on when you are in reverse, are the very things that make you shine when you are upright. An ill dignified Queen is still a Queen, she just needs a little help getting upright again.

Don't get stuck!

Know that the wheel of fortune is always turning, and no one is on the top forever. Use your time on the bottom to examine yourself. Asses what is serving you and what is not. Determine what is useful and what is not. Use this time to reflect and prepare, for you will again be upright my friend. Don't let your time on the bottom be for nothing. Study your unconscious behaviors, figure out if they are helping or hindering you. Talk to your loved ones, ask them where they think you could improve and where you do your best. Listen to their perspectives and take them to heart. Know that this is work too! That you are important as the woman who carries a heavy and precious load.

Queen of Swords upright:

Thinks on her feet. Always prepared for the unexpected. Quick to defend herself and those she loves. She is loyal, she is fierce, and full of life and energy.

Ill dignified: She is a hot head, loses her temper. Sticks her foot in her mouth often. Cuts ties with people who care about her. Gossips and slanders.

Queen of Cups:

Sensual loving and kind. Easy going, goes with the flow. Makes the best out of any situation. Loves to cook and feed people and give gifts from her heart.

I'll dignified: She is a pushover. Easily taken advantage of. Can't say no when she should.

Queen of Disks:

Wonderful homemaker. Fills her surroundings with comfort. Good furniture, good clothes, good food. Her family is well taken care of. She loves all the comforts of this earthly life.

Ill dignified: She is greedy, she steals, she cheats, she lies. She takes, not caring if someone is left without. All out of fear of she herself being left without. She chooses her own comforts above anyone else's.

Queen of Wands:

A commanding woman. Whether it's at home or at work she stands on business. Her affairs are in tip top shape. She is always bringing new opportunities to the table and accepts only the best for her and the knees she loves.

Ill dignified: She is bossy AF. People see her coming and say "Oh God, here she comes". She doesn't care about anyone's opinion but her own. She believes she is always right. She is thick headed and impossible to work with because she is so overbearing.
