Kasamba Reviews — What It Costs and Who Owns It Now
We run a competing platform, so treat this as a competitor's account and verify what matters. Everything here comes from Kasamba's public pages and from filings that are a matter of public record.
- Free to ask
- A person writes your answer
- Private
Not sure how to start? Tap one and finish it.
Your first answer is free — one per person. After that you continue with your reader in paid chat.
Verified readers see your question while it waits to be picked up. Once one takes it, only they can reply, and it stays between the two of you. It is never published and never shown on your profile.
Kasamba offers introductory free minutes with your first advisor, with a card required before they begin, and bills per minute afterwards. It has operated since 2008 and was bought by Ingenio in 2023 — the same company that owns Keen, so the two are not independent alternatives.
What it costs to start
Kasamba offers introductory free minutes with a new advisor, and a discount on your first purchase. The condition is the same as most of this category: a payment method on file before the free portion begins.
- Billing is per minute, with each advisor setting their own rate.
- The introductory offer applies once, to your first advisor.
- Chat is the primary format, which suits people who would rather not speak aloud.
Who owns Kasamba now, and why it matters
Kasamba was owned by LivePerson, a publicly listed company, and was sold to Ingenio in March 2023. Ingenio also owns Keen — so two of the platforms you may be comparing are the same company.
Because Kasamba was a reporting segment of a listed company, its financials are public record. In 2022 it produced $37.1M of net revenue against $26.1M of sales and marketing spend, and revenue was flat against the prior year.
That is not a criticism of the readings. It is context for the offers: roughly seventy cents of every dollar went to acquiring customers, which is why every platform in this category, ours included, competes so hard on the first session.
Where we differ, plainly
- Kasamba: card required before the introductory minutes. Here: no card before your first answer, and none at all unless you continue.
- Kasamba: per-minute billing. Here: per message you send.
- Kasamba: since 2008, with years of accumulated reviews. Here: nine months old, with one review — we will not dress that up.
- Kasamba: same parent company as Keen. Here: independent, which matters only if you care about comparing genuinely separate options.
How to test any platform, including this one
Ask one specific question with real detail, and read the reply against what you actually wrote.
Look for engagement with your specifics, and for a willingness to tell you something you did not want to hear. Be wary of exact dates, guaranteed outcomes, or a curse only a paid service can remove — those are sales devices, and they exist on every platform in this industry.
Here that test costs nothing, which is the whole reason we suggest running it against us too.

How it works
How it works
- 01
Write your question
In your own words, in as much detail as you want. No forms and no menus — just the question. You make a free account before it is sent, so the reader has somewhere to reply.
- 02
A real reader takes it
Your question goes to our verified human readers. The first one available takes it and writes your answer themselves.
- 03
You talk privately
Their answer opens a private chat with them. Carry on there in text, or move to a video call — entirely your choice.
Not a generator
Answered by a person, not a generator
Most "free tarot" sites match your click to text somebody wrote years ago. Here, a verified human reader reads what you actually wrote and replies to you specifically. They can be wrong, they can tell you something you did not want to hear, and they can ask you a question back — because there is a person on the other end.

Questions people ask
What does it cost to ask?
Your first answer costs nothing — one free answer per person, not per reader. If you want to keep talking afterwards, you continue with that reader in paid chat, or move to a paid video call. That choice is always yours.
Is this a real person or an AI?
A real person. Your question is sent to verified human readers on FateArc, and the first one to take it writes your answer themselves. Nothing here is generated for you by a bot.
Who can see my question?
Verified readers see it while it is waiting to be picked up. Once a reader takes it, only that reader can reply, and the conversation continues privately between the two of you. It is never published and never shown on your profile.
How long does it take to get an answer?
It depends on who is free when you ask. Readers answer when they are at their desk, so it can be minutes or it can be several hours. We email you the moment your answer arrives, so you do not have to sit and wait on the page.
Are Kasamba and Keen the same company?
They have the same owner. Ingenio acquired Kasamba from LivePerson in March 2023 and also owns Keen. If you are comparing the two hoping for genuinely separate options, that is worth knowing.
Do I need a card for the free minutes?
Yes. Like most platforms in this category, the introductory minutes sit behind a payment method. The exception is a first answer that is free structurally rather than promotionally, which is how ours works.
