Why the meter matters more than the free minutes
Most of these sites bill per minute, which means the clock runs while you think, while you type, and while your reader types back. Three free minutes is roughly one question and half an answer.
That structure also shapes what you get. A reader paid by the minute has an incentive to take their time; a reader paid per exchange has an incentive to be useful quickly. Neither is dishonest — but it is worth knowing which one you are buying.
