- One promotional offer per customer, ever.
- Unused promotional minutes stay on the account rather than expiring.
- After the promotional minutes, you are billed at that advisor's normal per-minute rate.
- Promotional minutes are excluded from the satisfaction guarantee.
Five minutes at a conversational pace is roughly one question and part of an answer. That is enough to judge tone, and rarely enough to resolve anything.
What Keen genuinely does well
It would be dishonest to write this without saying it. Keen has been running since 1999, and that longevity shows in places that matter.
- Depth of choice: thousands of advisors, filterable by specialty, and readable without an account.
- Real track records: profiles show reading counts and years active, which is a stronger signal than star ratings alone.
- Ratings collected from everyone, not just enthusiasts, with written reviews kept optional — so the average is less skewed than most.
- They publish poor ratings alongside good ones rather than hiding them.
