Karmic cycle breaking from bad habits

Today I decided to do a reading for myself, however I felt that others could resonate this reading with their own situations, I felt it is important to unpack and make it easier for one to digest all the information in case someone could take this information to better themselves.

The question I asked going into this reading was direct and simple; “What will happen if I continue this destructive cycle I am stuck in because of my bad habit?”

Many people can ask themselves this kind of question, there are a variety of bad things, and habits that are destructive towards people and their futures. It could be simple; you're smoking a lot; or it could also be bigger and more complex; You’re stuck in a cycle of arguing with one that you love and or depend on. 

The three cards that fell out of my deck were Five of Swords, The Moon, as well as Ten of Swords. What do all of these cards have in common? They're all Karmic cards, or CAN be.

The Five of Swords coming out first tells us a few things, multiple of which can be true at once. It tells us that in “light” of these actions we’re taking that are destructive, we have, and are facing some sort of conflict, that we are facing defeat, and that we may be acting selfishly from our desires. In relation to karma and cycles, Five of Swords shows karmic conflict here, this about someone who never learned their lessons in regard to this situation we have at hand.

The Next card that came out, usually represents our present, or what we have going on currently whether it be something directly in front of us that we can see, or the opposite. The Moon card falling out shows us that there is confusion, this is something we cannot see right in front of us. This could be deception, fear, (rightfully so) Illusions, or a hidden danger, going back to being confused or blind sighted. Something is brewing up due to the situation we created for ourselves. 

When it comes to this card and its karmic meaning, it’s telling us that this thing we have going on, will affect us in the future, what that effect is only you will know. The Moon represents Karmic illusions; we may be under the illusion as of right now that things in regard to this situation will be okay, but it simply may not be true. This card can also represent karmic induced fears, or some sort of ancestral karmic pattern.

Our final card; Ten of Swords only confirms the Moon card deeper with its own meaning. Ten of Swords shows us if we continue this pattern or path we’re going on right now, there will be a collapse, harsh or brutal ending, and or possible betrayal. Ten of Swords in regard to karma represents karmic collapse ending a cycle, this very cycle that is leading us towards something we won't know until it collapses and ends abruptly. 

Together these cards tell us a very obvious story, were on a path of conflict and defeat making us act selfishly and do things that have caused us to be in the shadow, or under an illusion of false safety or hope that things will be okay if we continue, and that a harsh collapse will end this cycle one way or another. 

What to take away from this is to look at your bad habits or destructive actions and realize this is all a karmic cycle only you can break. You should go about it in a way that ends the cycle before a point of no return, or you will face what comes from the situation you've ended yourself up in.
